I was charmed (albeit somewhat perplexed) by the fannish sensibility of many of the music choices -- it's like the director was trying to vid Canada. --loligo on the Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Well, I don't think that it's contradicting anything that specifically came before really, no. But I don't think they've been planning this as a plot point for three years either. Which I hasten to say doesn't bother me in this case.

Oh, no, not at all. I'm still happy as hell that they did it, because I can safely tuck the whole Angel/Cordy thing into my "of course, she infected with EVIL at the time, so it wasn't REALLY Cordy completely changing her character and deciding that she loved Angel" excuse. Brr. Unclean.

Uh, are we white-fonting for a reason? If it's a NZ shaped reason, then cool. But I don't see any other reason to bother.

`He combed his hair, Put on a shirt that his mother made, And he went on the air...'

Yeah, what are all the white spaces for? If I'm the only Kiwi (which I think I am), then don't bother on my account. I assume you're discussing Angel, and I'm not concerned about it, being only back on season 2, and more interested in Buffy anyway.

Lurching from one disaster to the next.

Seriously Kassto ... you don't want to be spoiled for Season 4 of Angel.

though I guess if you've already read the white-font stuff, you probably have been spoiled ...

Thanks evil jimi, but I seriously don't mind. Even if I do ever get wrapped up in Angel series 4, I don't care if I'm spoiled. I'm not seriously into it. I hate Angel as a character -- my opinion of him is close to Spike's.

Hee! That's it, I have to go watch the 'nancy boy hair gel' speech right now.

Okay, that right there is an excellent reason for me to get over my misgivings - thanks! Blargh. Angel wuvs Cordy is almost single-handedly responsible for my dislike of Season 3. I hereby declare to Trust that this twist, whether long-planned arc or clever save, will take me somewhere exciting and right past wrongs.

And re: white font... I actually thought we were white fonting for you, Leigh, cos you missed it and all. Are you spoiled already? I knew you were for Buffy but I wasn't sure if you were for Angel.

Angel wuvs Cordy is almost single-handedly responsible for my dislike of Season 3.

I'm not certain how I'd have felt about S3 if I wasn't so completely Wes-centric in my viewing.

But S4 made me love the Hairloaf again, so we're all good.

`He combed his hair, Put on a shirt that his mother made, And he went on the air...'

The nancy-boy hair gel speech was the funniest thing ever on either show. Cut right to the heart of Angel's pretensions. Makes me miss the old Spike -- not the totally evil Spike but the one who had enough confidence in himself to shoot his mouth off and damn the consequences.

Are you spoiled already?

Heh. Just a little. (If by 'a little' you mean 'like the 50c spoiler-ho I really am')
