Most of the songs used on Buffy aren't really my cup of tea genre-wise, which is why the Cibo Matto one (which is) is my favourite, but one that I think is used really effectively is the one that's playing during the slo-mo power shot when vamped-up Darla and crew enter the Bronze during "The Harvest". Oh, and "Transylvanian Concubine" is cool too, obv.

It's lucky Veruca had that animal magnetism thing going b/c her singing sucked.

I really like THC. Or the four songs of their's I have on mp3 anyway

I bop to Wittgenstein. -- Nutty

in Dead Things when Buffy and Spike are drawn to each other and Spike is caressing his crypt door

I love that scene. That was the crypt door at its best, IMHO.

To every idea a shelf...

Another good one: the song in the clothes fluke scene.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Third is the song they play at the start of Conversations with Dead People that sets up the episode. You actually see the band setting up, and the song says...``Warm skin, Wolf grin, And where were you, Where were you...''

Joss wrote that song. The singer was Angie Hart, formerly of the Australian band Frente!

NOTE: The exclamation point is a part of the band name and does not necessarily reflect the views and opinions of this poster

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

I adore that song from CwDP. Anyone have any idea where I could possibly get a copy of it? I can't download music, tragically.

I also love the Sarah McLachlan, at the end of both "Becoming, Pt. 2" and "Grave."

It's a remora, dimwit.

I like the idea of using a band named "Forehead!" on a vampire show.

To every idea a shelf...

Particularly one that used to feature David Prominent McForehead Boreanaz.

`He combed his hair, Put on a shirt that his mother made, And he went on the air...'

Joss wrote that song too?! Is there anything the man can't do? Is he real?

No, wait. I bet he can't make a proper Italian risotto, with the hot stock and the stirring and the butter and parmesan, and just that right combination of creaminess and chewiness...I bet he can't.

(And just a little snerk at you Aussies -- we get Dirty Girls tomorrow night here in NZ, so we pull ahead of you now, don't we?)

Look, don't make me crack out the sheep jokes to prevent unjust taunting. I will do it. I am just that petty. :P
