Yeah, that could have been one of those smaller errors that are allowed in because of late changes, or because it fixes bigger errors. Or maybe one could argue that Buffy's such a fashion Bessie that she would change clothes for the different events in her day, sort of like Shannen Doherty wearing a different outfit in every one of her scenes in "Mallrats."

He's a "special" vampire, so having his bones stick around doesn't seem out of phase with the rest of the Jossverse.
Oh, I totally agree. My rant was more towards some of the things that have been nit-picked to death that are far less canon-violating. I love the shows, and obssess about them, but there are some times you've just got to not worry about where Capt. Logic is.
there are some times you've just got to not worry about where Capt. Logic is.
For some reason, this phrase seems very useful.
Kaylee (quietly, to Zoe): Why are we doing this?
Zoe: I don't know. I think Mal isn't being Capt. Logic at the moment.
Or Xander could use it:
Buffy: You really don't like Spike, do you?
Xander: Well, when Capt. Peroxide is around I tend to not worry about Capt. Logic.
Well it is derived from a Buffy quote:
"Capt. Logic's not driving the tugboat"
Memfault on who said - I want to say it was Riley, but I REALLY don't want to say it was Riley, if you get my meaning.
It was Anya, if memory serves.
t edit Phew, I was first! There's no surer route to a cross-posting pileup than a "who said this?" question.
Somehow I missed that-- must not have been listening hard enough. Oh, dear, I'll have to go back and watch every episode with Anya in again. What a hardship.
Anya? Huh. I would have gone with Xander or Buffy before Anya. It fits, but I can't put it in context.
Did Oz and Anya ever get a scene together of significance? I don't recall one, and it's a shame that never got to happen.
The talk of quotes above just made me think of that. I think they interacted a little in Season 4, but Oz departed too soon for any quality exchange of dialog (I think).
Found it!
From Flooded:
XANDER: Anya. If I tell them we're engaged right after you dared me to ... wouldn't you always wonder if that's the only reason I did it?
Anya thinks about this, realizes he's right.
ANYA: Oh.
XANDER: Score one for Captain Logic.
ANYA: No, no. Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat. I smell Captain Fear at the wheel! (lowers her voice as Tara and Dawn move toward them) God, I hate this. This tone in my voice? I dislike it more than you do, and I'm closer to it!
Cereal: We should maybe move this to Previously.
