Channel surfing must be pretty dull in Isreal.
Whenever I'm in front of a tv that has cables (around a couple of dozens of channels, sometimes more, with an extra pay), I find myself fascinated by the amount, and can't stop changing the channel (sometimes to the annoyance of the people around me), just for the 'what's on that one?' factor.
It's usually the TV gods telling me to go and do something more constructive with my time.
Well, we have lots of religious confrontations and tensions here as it is, I think that the addition of TV gods will be too much for us...
Cordy had attained utter perfection as a character in the "don't bone my boss" episode.
Oh, she was so great in Untouched wasn't she? Though I re-watched recently and had fun snerking at Cordy's line to Wesley about 'women and sex' and how us wymnn see more levels 'cause I kept flashing forward to scruffy!Wesley and all the levels of sex he got to see in season four.
Okay, I take back the nice things I said about 7. Just noticed those wankers are repeating "Tabula Rasa" tonight but screening a new ep of Angel tomorrow night.
and ...
Hate to be the delurker of bad news, but apparently there are four weeks of Buffy repeats. I'm not sure why exactly, I got it as second-hand news because I'm a total spoiler-phobe. But I got the impression that it's a 'screen the episodes the way the makers intended' thing rather than a 'screw over the Buffy fans yet again' thing.
Emlah, you're right.
Read no further if you're a Buffy fan, because a plot-spoiler is coming.
This obsessive, intellectual nature of the Buffy fan base explains why the Seven network in Australia is being highly sensitive in the build-up to the final episode, which will be shown here on August 11.
Asked why this week's episode of Angel had been a repeat, a Seven publicist said: "So the fans won't be screwed over - we're trying to do right by them." She explained that in the episode of Buffy due for June 9, Willow (a lesbian witch) will receive a phone call asking her to come and see Angel (a vampire and former boyfriend of Buffy).
She will then turn up in the episode of Angel that plays on June 10. If Seven hadn't run a repeat this week, Willow's appearance in Angel would have happened prematurely.
After that, Seven will need to run a couple of repeat episodes of Buffy to ensure that the current series of Angel will finish two weeks ahead of the Buffy finale, allowing Buffy's beloved vampire to reunite with his beloved slayer for her last two weeks.
Seven, entrusted with the most original, witty and provocative TV show of the past two decades, knows all too well that both God and the devil are in the details.

Hey! Did a couple of posts just disappear completely or has my browser gone wonky all of a sudden?
Thanks for that moonlit.
I was going to say I wouldn't be surprised if Emlah (hi Emlah! Welcome aboard. Try the chips, they're yummo!) had heard correctly b/c isn't Wimbledon about to happen shortly.
Of course, I then got hit by a 4xclue and realised 9 usually airs Wimbledon.

I'm seeing all of them, Fiona. Maybe you should report this on BBaBB?

Really? You're seeing Leigh's, yours and my post about being bilingual? Because I'm going straight from moonlit (post 5155) to my hey! post (5156).
On edit: will report, but have to go do stuff and go home first.
Fiona, didn't you post that one in Natter, too?
[Edit: Is it different than Fiona "Natter 12b: superstitious? us?" Jun 17, 2003 3:50:47 am PDT?]
Aarg. OK. Maybe I should go post in BaBB that I need a brain refit, or something. I wouldn't be surprised if ita could help me there too.
Thanks, Nilly! I should add that it's been a
very
stressful morning.
{{Fiona}} I hope the afternoon will treat you nicer than the morning did.
