Death is your art. You make it with your hands day after day. That final gasp, that look of peace. And part of you is desperate to know: What's it like? Where does it lead you? And now you see, that's the secret. Not the punch you didn't throw or the kicks you didn't land. She really wanted it. Every Slayer has a death wish. Even you.

It wasn't a date kind of a date, for several obvious reasons, it was just a 'watching a video together' kind of date conducted internationally.

And the movie was the original BtVS movie starring Kristy Swanson, so a few technical difficulties didn't spoil it too much.

Remember when Buffy got period pains which warned her that vampires were around?

Kind of a spidey-sense, but more of a crampy-sense?

And of course, three or four days out of the month or whatever, she'd have been unable to tell there was a vampire sneaking up behind her.

All kinds of PMS jokes are now occuring to me but I'm going to skip them...

Lurching from one disaster to the next.

I notice Joss does a commentary for both "Welcome to the Hellmouth" and "The Harvest" and I was wondering if it was worth grabbing a copy -- even though I already own season 1.

Ok, see, that comment was written by Idiot Jed, my multiple personality guy.

The Region 4 DVD does, in factually actually, contain the Jossentaries.

Though not as good as his Jossentary for "Innocence". Who knew Tony Head resents wearing pants?

Oh and I doubt I'll bother with the Region 1 versions. I suspect the video quality will be the same for all the regions. To clean up the abysmal transfer they'd need to redo it and I doubt they went to that expense.

Of course, 5 years from now it will be a different story and no doubt Fox'll release "remastered" DVD sets with the picture quality we should've got in the first place. Should be good for milking a few extra bucks out of geeks like me.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Who knew Tony Head resents wearing pants?

blinks. collapses giggling.

Do you mean what I took that to mean? Or do you mean normal-trousers-other-than-jeans, or something mad? 'Cause now all I can think of is Commando!Giles. Which isn't a bad thought, I hasten to add. Just unexpected.

I get the impression Tony prefers working in just his jocks ... or maybe he's a boxer shorts type o' guy. Either way, he gets angry if he's made to wear pants.
