If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I forgot to bring in the paper with the new card # on it, and already fares are nearly $600. Which means they'll just get worse and I really need to talk to the parents before I'll let them shell out that much.

sarameg, I've been told that late in the evening on Wednesdays is a time when airlines traditionally release extra seats at lower fare classes. (Have not actually checked whether this is so.) So all might not be lost.

I hate: travelocity, orbitz, continental.com and maybe even southwest.com.

Mainly the first 3 for LYING and making me waste time.

Try kayak.com Much better than orbitz, etc., though you still have to look up SW directly.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

I'm not even watching S60 anymore (I just couldn't take it), but considering that every single mall in the greater metropolitan area has a friggin' snow machine going, and I'm betting there's still some to spare, that's just plain idiotic.

Thanks, brenda. I just chafe at these fares. I mean, yes, I'm flying to the edge of nowhere, I realize. And am a little frustrated with my family and have learned I just don't LIKE this holiday much at all anymore. Just as soon cancel it.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

Well, the good news is that apparently my late application (to replace one of my dissertation advisors who retired this year) is still under consideration. The bad news? The chair spelled my first name wrong on her letter. Not only did I teach there for years, but I have one of the most common French names there is! This can't be a good sign.

I want to mold a clear material in the shape of a cube.

As Strega said, two-part epoxy resin. You can mold it in things like ice cube or candy molds. If you're looking for a larger cube, maybe there's a candle mold that would work?

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I was looking at some messenger bags online, I need anew one for my laptop. There's a pretty red one with chinese characters on it, but I'm afraid to buy it because I don't know what it reads.

It could all, "dumb bitch," or "rancid hotdogs" and I wouldn't know. Hm.

I think it's true about the Wednesday thing, sarameg.

Stupid lack of microwave has caused me to order pad thai. Will eat my chicken fettucine alfredo w/ asparagus, tomato, and green onion for dinner, then.

Poor, poor shrift....wait a minute!

Man, I just turned into a festering ball of frustration. It's sad. Stupid holidays.
