No. You're missing the point. The design of the thing is functional. The plan is not to shoot you. The plan is to get the girl. If there's no girl, then the plan, well, is like the room.

Spike's Bitches 33: Weeping, crawling, blaming everybody else

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

What a relief, Aims. And good news for Connie, too.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

YAY Connie!

Art Crawl!!!

Aimee and Connie -- hooray for your good news!

In news of heat in my apartment: despite having previously stated that the boiler was perfectly fine, the maintenance guy now thinks that it's sprung a leak. (Yes, that is EXACTLY why I mentioned the rust-stain leading from the bottom of the boiler to the drain in the basement floor. . . sigh.)

So, he's doing more work on it.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I was able to get a hair appointment for 5:30 tonight!

Yay, Aimee and Connie!

I think I now have everything I need to make Christmas baskets. The only thing I couldn't find was the chocolate santas.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Happy Solstice! Yays for brenda, Aimee and Joe, and crossed fingers for Connie and Connie's Hubby that it works out!

Dang, I don't feel like working anymore today. Or the rest of the year, really. I think tonight I'll break out that bottle of meade at the moment of solstice to celebrate. I'll be watching Scrubs in my underwear; that seems sufficiently celebratory.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Yay, Aimee/Joe and connie!! Also, yay, sj, for the hair cut!!

I found out today that I'm getting a nice bonus with my next paycheck. I'm thrilled about that. It will help muchly when I am a broke student teacher.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Happy Solstice Everyone!

"already on the kiss-cam with Karl Marx"-

Scrubs is pretty funny...I've just started watching it. I'm sorry I missed it, but this way there are years of snotty doctor quips waiting for me.

Librarian Warlord

Yay for regular work, humans on the other end of the phone, and last minute hair appointments!

This is not a good day -- not only is the coffee place not open, but chocolate has lost its meaning for me. Not enough coffee/too much chocolate = Hostile work environment.
