Spike: Heard what happened up top, offing your dad and all. Don't know if you know this, but, uh…I killed my mum. Actually, I'd already killed her, and then she tried to shag me, so I had to-- Wesley: Thank you. I'm…very comforted.

Teppy's splendid birthday
It comes but once a year
So dance about to honor her
And raise a joyous cheer!

Teppy's splendid birthday
We're glad that she was born
We hope she has a great day
Full of kisses, beer and porn.

Because books.

Happy birthday, Teppy! With lots of cake and love!

Congratulations, sj!

That's all I have. Jake had eighth grade graduation this morning. It was a little underwhelming, actually.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

There is a feeling in the air that something special is happening today.

Could it be sj's cousin's new baby?

Could be.

Could it be my last day of work for a week and a half?

Could be.

Or could it be TEPPY DAY?

Must be!!!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY STEPH!!!!

What is even happening?

Why underwhelming, AmyLiz? Was it the ceremony, or just the mood?

Congrats to Jake, anyhow.

Because books.

Why underwhelming, AmyLiz?

Well, the principal has all the personality of a wooden stake, for one. It was also unorganized and smacked of cat herding. I also think this is part of an old tradition, and it somehow made me sad -- like years ago this might have been the only graduation for a lot of these kids.

We didn't do any of that where I grew up -- graduation was after high school, with attendant pomp and circumstance. The kindergarten and fifth grade and eighth grade graduations kind of diminish the big one, in my opinion.
