Can't even shout, Can't even cry. The Gentlemen are coming by. Looking in windows, knocking on doors. They need to take seven, and they might take yours. Can't call to mom, can't say a word. You're gonna die screaming but you won't be heard.

Spike's Bitches 30: Going on Thirteen

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I never had the NKOTB love. It's possible that I was going through my big hair metal bands days when NKOTB was popular, though.

This is me, but I KNOW I was into my metal when NKOTB was out. I will cop to seeing NSync live with K-Bug though. That was a more scary experience than ANY metal show I have attended.

I loved them both.

When was NKOTB? I think I'm too old to have been susceptible to them. The only thing close to boy bands they had in my day were the Osmands and the Jackson Five.

Ah! I was out of the country then. Plus, not of the susceptible by then.

Did you get a volunteer to look at Dave's resume, sj? I'll check it out if you want to send it to me at work.

Thanks. Insent.

Yo, Nicole.

How far are you from Aurora? Specifically the Aurora Sports Park?

Mostly lurking...

Oh, my! I just looked at myself. I'm a MESS! It's like the opposite of Jilli's shallow fashion post. I'm currently wearing:

  • a red and yellow t-shirt
  • gray sweat pants
  • blue and khaki striped hoodie sweater
  • pink and gray socks
  • blue slippers

And my hair is all over the place. At least I look like I feel.

I'm getting the pig!

How far are you from Aurora? Specifically the Aurora Sports Park?

Approx. 15-20 minutes away, by car. Why?

First album '86. Hugeness was around '89-'90ish.

A-ha! I was in high school those years. That explains it. I was too busy stealing all of my older sister's music by then to really notice the Block boys.
