You're wrong about River. River's not on the ship. They didn't want her here, but she couldn't make herself leave. So she melted... Melted away. They didn't know she could do that, but she did.

Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Help ticket from hell. This woman has at most, a five-minute problem, but she absolutely refuses to either give me a phone number or even call me when I give her mine.

My new job has me helping fast-food restaurant employees deal with touch screen windows-based point of sale systems.

One week in, I still didn't have a working network login, nor a phone system login.

Two weeks+ in, and I still don't have an email account on the exchange server.

The internet is blocked, except for a small handfull of highest-priority sites. I feel your pain.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

hire people, and don't give them tools to do work. One of my favorite corporate stratagies.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

hire people, and don't give them tools to do work.

How familiar I am with this one.

beth, glad matt's gonna be back soon. I hope you start recovering from your sickness soon.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Whee! My date is all a-completed. It seems that she is both a bit of a Baptist and a bit of a Marxist. This could get interesting. Anyway, the date went rather well, possibly because I didn't mention to her that she'd been re-christened Wallybee.

What is even happening?

I'm taking this as a shout out from Wally.

You might want to let that be a surprise somewhere down the line (although I t heart the name Wallybee, beyond reason).

I'm gonna take a stand and say that 8:15am Saturday classes are evil.

I'm gonna take a bigger stand and say that meeting with your classmates at 7:30am before the 8:15am Saturday class is really, really evil.

Is it bedtime yet?

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Ew, Val, that's just...what's right past evil?

Today we were learning to sign opinions (like, enjoy, ok, don't like, hate). When we went around the room and signed things we hate, I signed "early morning class." Thankfully the prof thought it was funny.

In some ways, I can't believe she teaches this early. She drives down from New Hampshire. Boy, would I hate to be her!

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Well...at least the roads can't be busy, right?
