You know, with the exception of one deadly and unpredictable midget, this girl is the smallest cargo I've ever had to transport. Yet by far the most troublesome. Does that seem right to you?

All is well that ends in pizza.

Exactly.

Our wings are not tired.

Ouch!

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Locke didn't destroy the statues. I find that odd. I suppose he could be keeping them for their medicinal value, but I doubt it, somehow.

Charlie's so screwed.

I just can't work up any sympathy for Charlie. Wah Wah, nobody understands me. Wah Wah, my brother shit on me. Wah Wah, nobody trusts me.

Locke keeps his options open. Never know when you're going to need some drugs, or religion.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Yup. I lost interest in a hurry. I started flipping back and forth between this ep and Bones, and when Harry Groener showed up over there, I stayed.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Okay, we didn't learn anything new in this episode, and the plot didn't move forward at all. Bah.

That said, I think that this season, Locke has been incrementally becoming more and more of a hardass, and this episode did highlight that. Most notable was the ending, with the cross-cutting the scenes of the baptism (Eko = priestly prophet dude) and the scenes of Locke hiding the statues (Locke = secretive manipulative dude). I feel like we're headed for a Locke-Eko showdown at some point.

Other stuff: when Hurley asked Libby "Do I know you from somewhere?" it finally hit me -- Hurley was in a psych. hospital, and Libby is a psychiatrist (or psychologist or therapist -- some sort of mental health professional). I got the feeling that there was more than just him stepping on her foot as he boarded the plane, and I'll bet it's the psych. hospital connection.

And finally: anyone else wonder where in the hell Hatch!Dude (Desmond?) is? Maybe he hooked up with Crazy French Chick.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Ohhhhh. Tep = smart.

Desmond and Rousseau are on the other other side of the island, at the hotel having daquiris.

Dear Charlie, Get The Fuck Over Yourself. Love, Island.

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Yeah, Charlie is a moron and Liam is a dick. That's about all I got out of this episode.
