Yes, it's terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, uh, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after.

Spike's Bitches 27: I'm Embarrassed for Our Kind.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Title rings a bell somehow, Trudy, but I'm not even sure why. Should I be?

Someone mentioned it to me today. It includes a character who in meatspace is quadrapalegic but in cyberspace nobody knows that.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Royal Alert for Aimee: I went over to the Ferry Building to snag some food and noticed that big sections were cordoned off. Then I remembered that Prince Chuck and his consort will be touring there today. (He being a big advocate/fan of organic farming, which is prominently featured at the Ferry Building).

"Somewhere in this building is our talent." Toby Ziegler, my spirit animal

I should read that. Even if it might make me mutter and think I could've done it better, as most crip books do, nowadays.

According to my source, he is a minor character which is sorta cool, not a crip book per se, but a book with an interesting crip in it.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Would Jesus need guns in hell? Or maybe just a kickass Samurai sword.

Well, if Robot Chicken is to be believed, the latter.
