OK, I just sent "Aphrodisiac".
Buffista Music III: The Search for Bach
There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.
Hey, Buffistae! I had also bought Submarine Bells used a year or two ago (to replace a cassette, 'cause I have to include that aside) for regular used CD price.
Hey Corwood -- Have you seen this: [link]
Nope, but I bet it's good. On a side note, the guy who wrote that article is my neighbor and friend.
Erg. My connection keeps timing out before I can send the files to BR. I'm compromising by using YouSendIt, so if you see something in BR from Ava Tari, that's me.
SA, do you want Intro Versailles? It's just horses clippy-clopping on cobblestones and a church bell.
nahh. I can live without sound effects. thanks again so much for this.

I can't decide if that's Lucas Haas in the video as "The Patient."
Also, I'm terribly amused that they like to toss the equipment around on stage.

Yaaaaay! Thank you, sweetie.

I'm just terribly amused and enchanted by them in general. The next time they come to Seattle, I swear I am calling in EVERY possible favor I have from people so I can meet them.
(Which is even funnier when you know that the MCR boys are huge, huge gaming geeks, and there is a chance that I might be able to use the "Hey, did they play Magic? Would they be interested in meeting a Magic artist?" tactic. When I told Pete this plan, he snickered and rolled his eyes at me.)
So Jilli, did you see MCR on SNL this weekend? They were all epic and agitated.
Jilli ... didn't you know The Black Parade video is on the official MCR site?
I think this album is going to be a big commerical success for them. The local commercial station has been playing the song, and for a country Victoria top-40 station to play them, seems to indicate they're going to hit big.
