I'm just terribly amused and enchanted by them in general. The next time they come to Seattle, I swear I am calling in EVERY possible favor I have from people so I can meet them.
(Which is even funnier when you know that the MCR boys are huge, huge gaming geeks, and there is a chance that I might be able to use the "Hey, did they play Magic? Would they be interested in meeting a Magic artist?" tactic. When I told Pete this plan, he snickered and rolled his eyes at me.)

I think this album is going to be a big commerical success for them. The local commercial station has been playing the song, and for a country Victoria top-40 station to play them, seems to indicate they're going to hit big.

I've never listened to MCR before, but I iTuned it last night and listened to it on the train this morning. My morning commute was really brightened by cheerful music about death and what-not. (No, really.)

What do their other albums sound like?
The independent radio station I listened to when I lived in VT used to play stuff from their last album all the time and it never really grabbed me. I don't know why. But I really like this one, so I may have to go back and re-listen.
I've had "Welcome to the Black Parade" in my head for days now. In a good way.
