Why am I pricing plane tickets instead of working? BAH.

Ruby has been throwing up all morning. She can't hold anything down. She's not lethargic, and her ears don't feel warm. She threw up bits of ribbon she found in a box, along with what seems like everything she's ever eaten in her whole life.
I feel like I need to take her to the vet, but I'm not sure if I'm just being panicky.
So if you go into the bathroom and turn off the lights and say "carrot top" three times while spinning around three times, bon bon appears in the mirror? Is that what you are saying?

No fair!
No one ever comes to SF.
Oh, poor Ruby. I have no advice, since I know nothing about cats, though, sorry.
Allyson, my cats often throw up. The vet said it's due to overeating and their tendency to eat non-cat food things (like ribbons). As long as Ruby is still perky, it's probably not much more than a passing upset. However, if you're still worried, take her to the vet. Peace of mind is always a good thing.
Also, my sympathies.
Poor Ruby! Sounds like maybe the ribbon was bad for her.

I'm thinking going across the country is a little far for a weekend, sadly.
Yikes Allyson. has she thrown up hairballs before?

I'd at least call the vet, and tell them about the ribbon and the vomitting. Some things (probably not ribbon, but I don't know for sure) can get wrapped around the intestines and whatnot.
Allyson, I'd call the vet to see what they say. They might have some wait-and-see time span advice or they might want her in right away. The ribbon bits would have me a little concerned
You might try feeding her canned pumpkin or babyfood to um, grease things along.
