Gunn: The final score can't be rigged. I don't care how many players you grease, that last shot always comes up a question mark. But here's the thing. You never know when you're taking it. It could be when you're duking it out with the Legion of Doom, or just crossing the street deciding where to have brunch. So you just treat it like it was up to you—the world in balance—'cause you never know when it is.

'Underneath'

Buffy and Angel 1: BUFFYNANGLE4EVA!!!!!1!

Is it better the second time around? Or the third? Or tenth? This is the place to come when you have a burning desire to talk about an old episode that was just re-run.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

So, we're up to S6, and we're watching "All the Way" (the Halloween episode), which I hadn't really re-watched, and Xander's Halloween costume? Pirate.

Complete with EYE PATCH. Holy foreshadowing, Batman!

I said, "Yikes!" and had a hard time not spilling the beans to The Boy about the S7 eye-gouge.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

"Guise Will Be Guise" showed up on Tivo. That is another "Angel" ep that I think I have seen 5-10 times and will watch it every single time TNT shows it.

That is definitely one of my top 10 Angel eps.

FYI--according to a co-worker who's another Whedon fan, Walmart is dumping their Buffy and Angel season boxed sets for $14.95 each.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Very cool article. But was I the only one to read:

He can also get stuck for days trying to think up a name. “I need to know who that guy is, so I need the name, and it can kill me. I’ve got this time blocked out to write, and I can’t just say Mr. X. It’s really debilitating."

And think, "Whadda ya mean? His name is William."?

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Debet Esse and I once cooked up a Buffy/Whoverse Mary Sue named William Smith-Jones. He was half timelord, half slayer, and compltetly perfect. We had many fine adventures with William Smith-Jones.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Man, glowy Cordy! Still annoying, but slightly less so now that I know she is secretly EEEEVIL.

What is even happening?

Ben just saw on the news that Seth Green turns 35 today.

Interesting.
