Ha! During the Enemies fakeout reveal scene, A shouted "I knew it!" (Readers, they did not) and then proceeded to explain to me that they already DID an Angel-turns-evil plot, they weren't going to do it again. To which I said "Well...don't count on that. Angelus is like the Daleks of the Buffyverse"
When the Mayor is talking shit about Buffy/Angel during the box-of-spiders-for-Willow swap: "Oh SHUT UP. This guy suuuuuuucks!"
Man, that scene is so good. "Raise your hand if you're invulnerable."
The mayor was such a brilliant villain
The Mayor is still my favorite Big Bad.
Hard to beat
I have a lot of love for S4 and beyond, but the Mayor was truly the pinnacle of the Big Bads.
