Well, it's just good to know that when the chips are down and things look grim you'll feed off the girl who loves you to save your own ass!

Buffista Music II: Wrath of Chaka Khan

There's a lady plays her fav'rite records/On the jukebox ev'ry day/All day long she plays the same old songs/And she believes the things that they say/She sings along with all the saddest songs/And she believes the stories are real/She lets the music dictate the way that she feels.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Oops. Forgot we were doing this. I put my liner notes in the little CD booklet. There isn't much room for comments.

Ditto! I'd suggest to Hayden that he include a separate sheet for what I'm sure will be an extensive commentary on my mix.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Hayden's comments are in the booklet also.

I was planning on xeroxing them to a larger size, making my marginal notes and sending that on.

I didn't make notes to Hec's liner notes - just copied them for myself and sent them along.

Darn it! I missed a chance to comment on stuff.

I can't believe you wasted the opportunity to laud the "David Smay!" song! Where's the extolling of my virtues?

I know! There is much to extol(l?)! I briefly considered tracking down the post office truck before it leaves town.

Perhaps I will have to compose a full comment sheet on everyone's mixes and liner notes - I've already got a "Best of Buffista Mixes" playlist ready on my iTunes.

A fellow makes himself conspicuous when he throws soft-boiled eggs at the electric fan.

That JLH pic is VER-y FUNNY. She's a red satin sausage, when she only weighs about 97 lbs! That takes some DOING.

I'm very excited to get people's mixes!

I think comments on a seperate sheet would work fine.

I have received the first joe mix, but as instructed, I am ignoring it.

aka "The artist formerly known as Corwood Industries."

Hey, there seems to be a million things to comment since Friday, but I'll just stick to the immediate: I'll put my liner notes on my website for ease of copying & comments.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Hey, Gandalfe: since I'm Recipient #1 of your mix, I'll print your liner notes from the ones you linked to upstream, and send them on when I mail the CDs off to DX. Sound good?

Dear Kelly Willis:

If you insist on singing "When You Talk Some" to me, please send along airfare to some southern destination. Apparently a feller is awaiting me on some old plantation home.

love, msbelle
