Everything looks good from here... Yes. Yes, this is a fertile land, and we will thrive. We will rule over all this land, and we will call it... 'This Land.' I think we should call it 'your grave!' Ah, curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal! Ha ha HA! Mine is an evil laugh! Now die! Oh, no, God! Oh, dear God in heaven!

Atlantic Canadian Monday Madness

[NAFDA] We used to get Buffy the day before everyone else, now we get Angel a week after everyone else. And Firefly every Monday!

It was fun. We were tense about the storm a lot, but it was still fun. I took one of the rented kayaks out for a spin yeaterday. They're fun!

We were listening to the weather report in the car on the way back, and I was thinking, man, if we have a hurricane and I don't get a day off, I'm going to be cheesed.

There's an empty beer bottle on the kitchen floor, and the cats have polished off 2 days worth of food in 24 hours. What kind of party did they have?

Thank the goddess for shopper's drug mart! I was making pizza for dinner and realized that I didn't have a mozzarella cheese. So we just went for a pre-hurricane cheese, battery, and candle run. I guess they say that the hurricaine won't be hitting until later tonight now. At least, I don't consider 10pm to be "evening" anymore.

My flashlight died last night while camping. I thought it was the batteries. It's not. It must be the bulb. (J loaned me one of her flashlights for tonight.) I had to go to two stores to find D batteries.

I'm having pizza for supper too! But I ordered mine.

Pizza and a hurricane - what could be better.

The wind is starting to get a lot stronger now. I should probably turn off the computer.

We're alive! Elena and DH didn't have electricity as of 5pm last night, and neither did Sue as of 8pm. I don't have phone, tv or Internet at home so I came into work this morning to use the phone to call home and use my computer. There's some damage to the office and no HVAC on so I won't be staying for long.
