Gunn: The final score can't be rigged. I don't care how many players you grease, that last shot always comes up a question mark. But here's the thing. You never know when you're taking it. It could be when you're duking it out with the Legion of Doom, or just crossing the street deciding where to have brunch. So you just treat it like it was up to you—the world in balance—'cause you never know when it is.

Thanks for all the fish.

Hey, just checking in really quick. How's things going?

Not much to say really. Life goes on, lalala, life goes on.

"Your logic is insane and complicated....like that of a troll!"

"Hide your babies and beadwork!"

Liked Buffy...Angel was ok and I'm glad Lorne is back but I hate, hate amnesia plotlines.

I just posted a PG rating for Betsy. Anyone think it was particularly kid offensive?

hip deep in pie

Are you saying you thought it needs censoring, because I thought it was okay.

I liked it. I can't believe they brought up the whole Xander lied thing. Not to mention having Buffy say that she'll never love anyone like Angel. I think they are trying to start some insane internet explosion. The pro-Xanders vs the anti-Xanders, the Spuffists vs the Bufyf'N'Angle 4evah crowd. At around 9:30 tonight we shall hear the gasp of all the Buffistas as they say, "Oh my god, Xander lied!!!!"

I loved the old-movie stuff, and the way the subtitles were written in a way that evoked both badly translated subtitles and Anya's awkward phrasing. I especially loved the "insane troll logic" reference. Oh, and all the anti-capitalist stuff Anya was saying.

I didn't care for the song, sadly. I thought that scene was the weakest in the episode.

I actually really enjoyed Buffy bringing up having killed Angel, and was both gleeful and shocked that they actually aired the "Xander lied" issue. I think you're right about the consternation it will start, Sue. Am I a bad person to be kind of looking forward to it?

I'll enjoy it for about 5 minutes, then I'll think, oh no, not this again.

I see the difference - I haven't been through it already, since I didn't join internet fandom until season 4. I'll probably get sick of it soon enough, but I'm not pre-sickened.
