I like books. I just don't want to take on too much. Do they have an introduction to the modern blurb?

We do not like it, can't you see?
We do not like it on your (shinyshiny) hair.
We do not like it anywhere.

The evil is this way?

According to the tvguide.com, Danny Strong will be in 2 episodes of "Gilmore Girls". I don't know if that includes the episode that already aired.

"God...my brilliance is now becoming a bit of a burden...get back to me." Dr. Cox - Scrubs

Last night I was able to place my grubby little hands on a copy of the Season 5 DVD set at work. Of course it will set and taunt me back in receiving dock for another couple weeks. I really wanna get ahold of those Firefly DVD's but I doubt we will carry them.

Can I just say that I'm so loving seeing S2 again on FX. This morning I watched Dru carry a burned and broken Spike out of the church and it was truly magnificent. And monkeypants!!! I miss my show.

One thing that keeps throwing me, though, is the way Spike says "Angelus". He pronounces it almost like the Angeles in Los Angeles and it just pings me wrong every time he says it. It was worst in School Hard when he first saw Angel. I don't think I've ever noticed it before.

Also, I've noticed that in S1 and S2, the Scoobs often refer to Buffy's patrolling as "hunting". (If I weren't so lazy, I'd have sites) Both Giles and Buffy talk about her going out hunting and it was strange to me because I remeber in S5 B vs. D, Buffy was really bothered by Drac's describing her patrolling as "hunting". She even talked to Giles about it at the end when she asked him to be her Watcher again. I'm wondering why the shift? I suppose I'm not really articulating it well. If I were more Cindy-an or Plei-an I could work up this eloquent treatise on how the shift from "hunting" to "patrolling" mirrored Buffy's growing discomfort/disaffection with her role as the Slayer and the darkness that it entailed. But that's kinda where I'm going.

And monkeypants!!!

"I mock you with my monkeypants..."

I recently finished watching all the S1 and S2 stuff ond video tapes that Steph sent me, so it's fun getting to watch them all again, Especially S2, which was so pivotal with so many things going on that would have repercussions for years to come.

Ill be buying my copy(s) at Best Buy on the 9th, will be cheaper there than at Sam's Club where I work if they even get them. Plus I have a reward zone card at Best Buy that gives me a little kickback in gift certificates.

I always say that S3 is my favorite season, but damn if S2 didn't kick so much ass. One day the DVDs will be mine.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

You could be on to something there. I'd say offhand that at that stage, the terminology wouldn't have registered because Buffy hadn't really started trying to examine who and what she was.
