Danny mentioned he would be on Gilmore Girls at a con early October, I think.
He played the part of an editor of the Yale newspaper where Rory was submitting some columns.
And it's great, he's all arrogant and snarky. Not Jonathon at all. Yay for acting.
I just posted about this on the Firefly board. I never have watched GG but plan on starting from the beginning some rainy day. Was this the first time he was on? Hopefully he re-occurs.
That was Danny Strong's first appearance on GG. I haven't seen any announcements that he will return, although given Rory's desire to be a journalist, it wouldn't surprise me if we see more scenes involving the student newspaper, which could involve DS.
I can't believe that nobody announced he'd be on it here!
But I totally agree: this character could v. definitely be recurring.
And he was great in it -- plus the character's name is "Doyle". . . which just adds greater poignancy for, you know, us.
