And she is feeling really goddamn low right then, and her ex shows up and he seems to have a perfect life and a perfect wife.
And at the end, she at least takes a concrete step to getting her life back together by breaking up with a guy who's completely and utterly wrong for her.
Okay, good points. It's just after Xander's whole speech to Buffy, I would have loved some acknowledgement somewhere that Riley screwed up too. I liked Xander's speech, but I
really
wanted Riley to get yelled at at least once, for what he did. Again, separate these issues from the episode itself, and it doesn't look so bad.

I'm not surprised that it didn't happen. Buffy is Xander's friend, but I'm sure that he was identifying heavily with Riley. I mean, Xander didn't turn to vamp bait, but dating Cordy was pretty bad :)
I loved Doublemeat Palace. Again with the working in a fast food resturaunt for 5 years you could relate to some of the things that they gave nods to in the episode.
I still watch Buffy every day in the morning for two hours no matter what episode is on. Do I enjoy some episodes or pay more attention more so than others? Yes. Do I love them all, Yes.
Would any power on earth make me watch an episode of Friends? No. People have tried to convert me, and even with an open mind I couldn't stand it. Except for the monkey episode with the swallowing of scrabble pieces. That was decent tv. I just can't watch laugh track sitcoms at all. I used to be able to tolerate "That 70's Show" but now it just drives me nuts, although that could be 90% because of over exposure of Ashton Kutcher.

I am ashamed to admit the number of times I have been late for work because I was waiting for some scene and _then_ I would leave.
I usually get home at 5 in the morning and tell myself I am not gonna let something sidetrack me so that I can go to bed and get up and accomplish something later that day before going back to work at night. It usually goes alright until 6 when Buffy comes on for 2 hours.
I've done that too!
Plus -- I really wanted to get "Get it Done" on tape -- and it's an odd numbered episode and therefore in the first half of the tape. I re-set my alarm for 5:30 am about a week prior to it's the am airing so that I would be "trained" to get up and be showered in time to start taping.
(I'm thinking of re-taping when it airs on Fox on Saturday because I cannot believe how very cut-up the FX one is. Am I insane in thinking that the Fox weekend airings are less cut-up?)
will he play the gay cousin?
