Also, you can tell it's not gonna have a happy ending when the main guy's all bumpy.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Right now, legions of ninja monkeys are plotting my demise.

From now on - and I expect future generations to hail me as a visionary - I intend to replace in my mind all references to terrorists with 'legions of ninja monkeys'.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Their top 10: Becoming Part Two, Once More With Feeling, Passion, The Body, Innocence, Becoming Part One, Conversations with Dead People, Chosen, Selfless, The Wish.

Three from S7. Some people have short memories (though those are the best episodes from the last season).

I expect a Buffista top ten would be different. It would certainly have Restless in the top ten.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I expect a Buffista top ten would be different.

Hmm. Now, *that* would be a deathmatch. Starting w/ nominations for top eps from each season, whittling away until we have the One True Ep.

(I am neither actually suggesting this nor volunteering to run it)

Becoming Part Two has held the top spot for so long - I'm curious if a deathmatch could unseat it.

If Becoming, Pt. 2 loses a deathmatch to anything in S6 or S7 then I quit. (I know that will break a lot of hearts.)

Swouncing

Becoming Part Two has held the top spot for so long

Remember in the TT deathmatches? When we didn't even nominate Spike's "love's bitch" speech from "Lover's Walk", and when it was put to a deathmatch against "death is your art" from FFL it lost? We can be surprising.

joe, don't quit - you just so recently came back.

"God...my brilliance is now becoming a bit of a burden...get back to me." Dr. Cox - Scrubs

Fool for Love is one episode that I didn't really love and everyone else seemed to always rank in their top 20.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I know we're not done yet with quote deathmatches, but I might be willing to run said episode deathmatches if they are desired by a significant number of Buffistas and become server-ly possible.

Unless, of course, said deathmatches would have a high probability of having nothing but pain come out of them, in which case I never said this, as I wish to be associated with nothing pain-inducing to Buffistas.

"God...my brilliance is now becoming a bit of a burden...get back to me." Dr. Cox - Scrubs

I just stumbled upon a link on slayage.com that said Smallville was the new Buffy. I agree to a sense that they have ripped off some very similar plot lines for monsters of the week and are all about the angst. But then they go on to say that Smallville is starting to hit its stride as Buffy did in S3. While I think this is when Buffy started to fire on all cylinders(somewhere between S2 and S3) I dont know so much about Smallville. They are starting to get away from the monster of the week occasionally, and the show is at its best when it does stray from this. It also says that it mixes humor, drama, and action like Buffy did. A point to which I totally disagree. It does great mixing drama and action, but terrible on working any good(or any at all) humor. The show needs more of it, unlike 24 which is actually better without any humor seeing as we find Kim plotlines as laughable enough. No need for any more.
