It's simple. I slap 'em around a bit, torture 'em, make their lives hell...Sure, the nice guys'll run away, but every now and then you'll find a prince like Spike who gets off on it.

I can't even.

I've missed Joss's touch with scripts though. I loved Waiting In the Wings because of the dialogue, the sound of the whole thing. (Even when I forget to tabula rasa out the 'I'm *nly al*ve wh*n' line). I've missed that on both Buffy and Angel. Firefly teased me with it, and then went away. Joss dialogue hits about the same sweet spot in my ears that Brian Wilson harmonies do.

As much as I love Jane and Fury and Goddard, that Joss dialogue touch is the signature of the show for me. How badly did we miss Joss on the set every day, tweaking every scene? We'll never know now. I appreciate you gotta take your shot at becoming a mogul when it comes along, but it doesn't mean I didn't live for those little turns of phrase.

"God...my brilliance is now becoming a bit of a burden...get back to me." Dr. Cox - Scrubs

So the rumors I have been hearing about Eliza's new show getting pushed back to midseason. Anyone know if those are true??? I mean even if it is, we will get another product of ME television in its place with Marti's new project in Still Life. I have a feeling ME writers may just take over the world. And as long as they stay away from sitcoms, I am fine with that.

Anyone else try ranking all the ME seasons like I did? It's hard as hell.

Nice ita. I am just waiting for someone to come along and say... they all suck.

Good to see the Firefly love so far. From most responses

Looks like Plei is big on the AS4 love with me.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

B1, B2, B3, A1 and A2 (tie), F1, and after that it would change depending on my mood.

Anyone else looking forward to the new Buffy game "Chaos Bleeds" tomorrow?? The first one kicked so much ass I can't wait for this one. Nice that they are letting those people with PS2 get in the game, but I am sticking with my lovely XBOX.

"Don't think of yourself as an organic pain collector racing towards oblivion." Dogbert to Dilbert

I'm glad they decided to expand the platform, since I have a PS2. I probably will wait a bit to buy it, though, since my dollars tomorrow will be going towards The Two Towers DVDs.

t whole other topic My local affiliate on its weekend syndication of Buffy came up with a double whammy this weekend - first, on Saturday, they aired "The Gift". The music in that kills me every.single.time. On Sunday, they aired "Becoming, pt II". I guess it was "angst weekend" for the local station (actually just a coincidence of scheduling).

I'll leave with this quote:

Buffy: I sacrificed Angel to save the world. I loved him so much... but I knew. What was right. I don't have that any more. I don't understand. I don't know how to live in this world, if these are the choices, if everything's just stripped away then I don't see the point. I just wish... I wish my mom was here.

"Oh no! Has falling sky liquid once again caused you the sadness?" -Starfire

I just wish... I wish my mom was here.

Oh fine, make me cry. That's exactly what I'm feeling right now. It's been almost 2 years since my mom died, and I still want to pick up the phone and call her almost evey day. I honestly don't think I'll ever be able to watch The Body again.
