Well some friends of Buffy played a funny joke and they took her stuff and now she wants us to help get it back from her friends who sleep all day and have no tans.

Perfect naming.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

My meeting today (that I was doing my tasks for, so I could report them) was cancelled. SO, yeah I stopped doing work.

I have done planning work for Disney trip in Jan. I am now working out a calendar to get tested 14 days before travel and be on tight tight lockdown before travel and upon return. Also looking at getting a face shield. Also going to do some trial packing of a bag to carry in the parks of wipes and extra masks.

I am now going to finish that work from yesterday and send updates to the boss and Big boss, then take another break and do some research on dressing recipes and make a grocery list.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

New thread!

And ouch, the name is perfect.

Our wings are not tired.

My first chuckle of the day, Rick Scott has Covid. Well deserved. I can't believe my fellow citizens ever voted for this crook.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Tim's Covid test update: because Ohio's curve is basically a vertical line, all the CVSs and Walgreens that are doing Covid test appointments are fully booked. I suggested he call his PCP, because if they're doing Covid tests, he probably wouldn't need an appointment per se -- they could probably fit him in to have a nurse do the test.

Tim talked to PCP in person, told him the circumstances around his co-worker testing positive (ie, their work shifts only overlap for 2 hours, Tim's interaction with co-worker was minimal, Tim always wears a mask, co-worker did not wear a mask). PCP said that he doesn't think Tim needs to get tested.

I generally trust Tim's PCP, especially after he caught Tim's busted mitral valve so early. But I'm iffy about this. I agree that Tim's exposure was minimal, but I just feel like the inconvenience of a Covid test is worth it.

Our wings are not tired.

Ugh, I'm sorry the PCP shot it down.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

WTF? Why not get tested? Hmph.

And I expect I'm going to be progressively angrier as it gets closer to Thanksgiving and people are just fucking jetting off to have 20-person dinners with their families while I sit at home because driving to see my family seemed too risky.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Dana, on the other hand, you won't be in the hospital with COVID for Christmas. It's a trade-off.

Our wings are not tired.

Yes, it will be Thanksgiving for 2 this year and I am fine with that.

eta: Oh! Doing the dance of getting my Buffista number for a post number.
