Goodbye and Good Riddance: Hey, at least you didn't get a Peloton. (2019)

Take stock, reflect, butch, moan, vent. We are all here for it.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

2019! It was the best of times, it was the blurst of times. (stupid monkey!)

GS: If you had to choose between kicking evil in the head or the behind, which would you choose, and why? Minsc: I'm not sure I understand the question. I have two feet, do I not? You do not take a small plate when the feast of evil welcomes seconds.

Thread name is fantastic!

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

(I'm glad you love your Peloton, Sparky)

I can't even.

Love the thread name! (No judgement, Sparky, this the spiritual home of AIFG! after all)

"You should never say bad things about the dead, only good… Joan Crawford is dead. Good.” —Bette Davis

We should all get some Aviator Gin and toast in the new year!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Ha!

Not completely unrelatedly - I have just discovered that BevMo has an order online pick up in store option and I'm not sure if that is very good or terrible

What, no drive-through?

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Actually, I've got to say, the Peloton itself sounds like of fun in a not-having-to-leave-the-house-but-still-interactive way.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I quite like that so far we've had six comments on the thread name, three about Pelotons and only one actually mentioning 2019.

And actually, only now do I notice that the thread name doesn't even mention 2019. (If it didn't already have a title, I'd propose "G&GR 2019: The Year That Buffistas Forgot".)
