No. You're missing the point. The design of the thing is functional. The plan is not to shoot you. The plan is to get the girl. If there's no girl, then the plan, well, is like the room.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I paid some bills and looked at my debt pay down chart. I am doing well. Eliminated my highest interest card. Now working on the next highest. Currently I only have one 0% card and with the identity theft and credit report freeze I won't be able to open another one for a bit, so the rotation of debt that has been allowing me to pay down while reducing interest accumulation is not being maximized, but I feel good with the progress. I lowered my debt by just over $6000 in the last 10 months.

Way to go, msbelle!

Our wings are not tired.

Nice progress, msbelle. I am super unorganized with that stuff. No doubt my sloppy practices have cost me a small fortune over the years.

Same here, but it's mostly over decisions I had good emotional reasons for making even if they didn't pan out fiscally, like the move to Memphis, getting a nice apartment when I moved back instead of a hovel I could pay debt down from quickly, and being more comfortable with paying interest than letting emergency savings dip too low.

Well I've been highly unorganized at time, but that has resulted in the very large credit card debt I find myself in. It's like a weight on me. At least now I know I have some cards with space on them if I hit an emergency.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I couldn't figure out why I'm falling asleep at my desk when I went to bed at a reasonable hour, but then I remembered -- I woke up at an unreasonable hour! zzzzzzzzzzzz

Laura I just want to give you and Brandon each a big hug.

I'm currently flying to Orlando so that I can attend a memorial tomorrow morning, then I fly home tomorrow evening.

Brendon is on his way to Orlando for a basketball tournament this weekend! I didn't go with him. I'm sorry your trip is for a memorial. If you find you have any time give him a shout because he no doubt would love to have a drink with you.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I finished my third work week! This feels like my first full weekend, because I was too exhausted to enjoy the first one, and the second one was my cousin's memorial service trip, so that was not a normal weekend, either.

It doesn't look like I'm making enough money to live off of from the job, though -- with all the taxes et al taken out. When I can go on the job health insurance (which will be less of a bite than my Obamacare paid-by-me plan) that will ease up a bit.

I'm so sorry, Laura. That must be so hard.

I did get up early enough to take the dog for a run in the woods, and met the shade-installers. Now I have 3/4 of my new shades, but there was a typo on the orders and the shade to go over the kitchen sink is 70" wide instead of 40" wide. Woops. Still, the ones they installed look very nice.

It's a busy social weekend: I should get off the couch and go buy fruit for a fruit salad tomorrow...
