Buffy ,'Same Time, Same Place'
Spike's Bitches 49: As usual, I'm here to help you, and I... are you naked under there?
Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Wow. This thread has been quiet for a hot minute.
ltc has her first dance recital coming up and a need some suggestions for a good hairspray that will hold a bun in her super soft hair all day without leaving any white film on her dark hair and also a suggestion for a pharmacy mascara that won’t break the bank for a one time use.
Wish I could help on the hairspray, sj, but my hair is so light, I'm not confident I would notice if it left white marks (and right now I'm using the opposite of your request - very light hold that was recommended by my stylist, so $$$). On the mascara front, I have one anti-rec at least - avoid the one that's supposedly the best-sellingest or whatever (pink & green tube, Great Lash maybe?) I found it took forever to dry/set whatever and didn't have great staying power. Though I've had decent luck with other Maybelline mascaras.
I feel like this is a request that Atropa would be qualified to answer confidently. Perhaps she's already seen the Goth-signal...

L'oreal Elnett.
Any of the Essence mascaras should be good. Target usually has them.
Thanks, Plei! I never use hairspray or mascara. So, I was clueless.

Seconded. It's the hair spray I keep around with fine hair.
Don't have any hairspray thoughts but I'm glad to see the party isn't completely over. Sometimes I get sad about that, though believe me, I understand this has not been a playful era.

I'll have to check it out. I like the stuff my hairdresser rec'd, but like I said - spendy.
I so enjoyed the "Are You There God, It's Me, Margaret" movie.
