Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Typing with one eye on Mr. S, as usual.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Wow. My employer just announced that they're switching to an unlimited leave policy effective immediately.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I hope that is as good as it sounds!

Well, it was already pretty generous, but I won't deny that it's especially handy this year, since I have two trips to Europe planned. (Poor me.)

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That sounds amazing. (Boss-dependent, I guess?)

Wow. I feel like that would freak me out though. Like how would I know I wasn't abusing it?!? Or having people perceive me to abuse it even though I wasn't?? Though really, who couldn't use more vacation time? I get a fairly good amount for the US but...

Ha, I was saying this to my husband over dinner. But I can't see myself taking a huge amount more than the four weeks I already got. A day here or there.

Yeah, that would be nice not to have to worry about. That said, I'm usually the kind of person with extra time I haven't taken, and having a deadline gives incentive there!

You have to remember that being a 5-time Olympic medalist means Hilary Knight has been playing hockey at an elite level at least 16 years. It's impossible for her to be a teenage girl less than 16 years old, thus the President's complete lack of interest.

Yeah, most years I don't use the whole four weeks I accrue throughout the year, and end up not being able to roll all my hours over to the next year.

Neighbor wine night. Actual parade of us marching up Chestnutt Hill, clanking wine bottles and glasses. Awesome, as usual.my neighborhood likes carrots. And wine.
