Everything looks good from here... Yes. Yes, this is a fertile land, and we will thrive. We will rule over all this land, and we will call it... 'This Land.' I think we should call it 'your grave!' Ah, curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal! Ha ha HA! Mine is an evil laugh! Now die! Oh, no, God! Oh, dear God in heaven!

There was some fairly last minute power work to be done and then there was arcing and a breaker flipped and trunk couldn't handle the load and now all sorts are services and servers are down or misbehaving and today just got even dumber.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I don't know what those words in that order might mean, excatly, sarameg, but sympathies.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I love my 2012 Focus that I bought new. It handles amazingly well and it's much quieter and has much better interior quality than other small cars in its class-

My son bought a 2012 Focus last year and it is quite zippy. My rental this week was a newer Focus, also a stick, but it was the hatch back version. I liked driving it, but I'm not a fan of Ford's dashboard/instrumentation/controls layout.

I'm reading all the car talk with interest. I'm not ready to trade in the Mustang quite yet. It is a 2002 and has been a good car even though we have to be very careful in the snow. It needs new tie rods and I have a feeling we will be hitting the nickel and dime stage sooner rather than later. I'm trying to hold off another year so I can have a better down payment. I haven't had a car payment in over 8 years, so I want it to be as minimal as possible.

Puppy cam! Yay!

Boyfriend and I actually just got confirmation that we are registered as a Foster Family for Miami-Dade Animal Services, so hopefully I will have some puppies and kitties in my life soon. I'm really looking forward to getting involved and helping some animals.

I'll need to buy a car soon as well - my "let's pretend I'm a millionaire" dream car is a Mini Cooper, but a Fiat is probably more my price range.

~ma and hugs to everyone having a bad day.

brillig

I'm trying to avoid a car payment, but if I pay off my credit cards, those payments should cover a car payment.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I'm always surprised that we don't have more Smart cars here in SF, and then I see one trying to go up one of the steeper hills, and I remember.

There are two Smart cars in my building's parking garage, and *both* have a motorcycle parked behind them. I'm convinced they just bought teeny tiny cars so they could fit their bike in the same parking space.

That's pretty sensible.
