Can't even shout, Can't even cry. The Gentlemen are coming by. Looking in windows, knocking on doors. They need to take seven, and they might take yours. Can't call to mom, can't say a word. You're gonna die screaming but you won't be heard.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Tep, didn't you have Shelob on your back porch last summer? I feel certain I remember you mentioning her keeping you from opening that door before. Maybe you need to build a giant spider habitat somewhere more remote.

We did, but I feel like it was a different-looking Shelob. Maybe she had a makeover.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Maybe she told her friends about this great spot.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

It was after one of the infamous SeaGoth shopping trips, right?

Yep! At Gorditos. I was talking about how I missed lurking in the Buffy talk at Salon and you told me where to find it!

So, between my vacation time and the 9/80 scheduling, I work three days this week, two days next week, and three days the following week, but then it's no time off until Thanksgiving and the 9/80 scheduling ends. that's gonna be a sucky adjustment.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Flame is at least 87% of the point of hairspray, signed, I was a punk kid in the 80s.

Yay vacation time, -t, but why does the 9/80 have to end? Because of busy retail season?

I am supposed to go to dinner at a friend's place but my head suddenly started hurting a little bit ago. BOO. ...I suppose I should really attempt taking some painkiller, eh?

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Hairspray alone is less dramatic, but the slo-mo-ness of it can be kind of fascinating.

I've had salad for dinner two days in a row. Sweetgreen's fish taco salad yesterday and Pret's turmeric cauliflower balance box today.

I'm getting really tired of this tendonitis in my ankle. I walked too much, or too fast on dinner break and now I have my shoes off and my foot awkwardly propped up on my desk.

Coding and Sleeping

Check engine light on my car just came on and I have a lot of driving to do tomorrow. Luckily, when I got the code off the car it looks like something I can drive with. Like so many problems it can be caused by a lot of things, but the first couple of things to try are pretty easy and inexpensive so I'm hoping I can fix it this weekend. A code reader is one of those things that once you have one you don't know how you got along without it before.
