And don't you ever stand for that sort of thing. Someone ever tries to kill you, you try to kill 'em right back! ... You got the right same as anyone to live and try to kill people.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Eh, they aren't that great. The first time I did laugh my butt off as I careened around the store. But they are frustrating, people don't make room, it is hard to reach things. And when you do have an injury - like you are on crutches, there is no great place to put the crutches. Let alone a knee scooter. "Luckily" for me, I can't drive so I'll always have someone with me to push the cart as I scoot around.

And yes, the problems I see are indicative of what others deal with daily.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

What was our disagreement on gerunds?

I have the distinct memory of being absolutely furious with you at some point during The Great Gerund War, and now I'm wondering if I was actually mad at someone else?

(I'm honestly hesitant to recap even a small part of that kerfuffle for fear of starting it all over again. It was on WX, and there was yelling.)

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Is an -ing ending required to be a gerund, or is it defined by the functional job it does in the sentence.

Aaaaaand now I'm having flashbacks.

Yeah, I recall having Very Strong Feelings and being totally boggled at all of the wrongheadedness! -- so much so that I am also reluctant to open the discussion back up. Let us just assume I was totally right about everything, mmmkay?

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I begin to see the Great Gerund War may have reached heights of ferocity like unto the Balrog Wing Debate on Rec.Art.Books.Tolkien.

I remember the Great Gerund War, but I can't remember a damn thing about it, though I am SURE that I both had and expressed Very Strong Feelings and was also a dick about it. (I mean, I can't remember being a dick about it, but odds are super good.)

I'm also pro-hammock anywhere you damn please. (Hey, if it's structurally unsound, that's on you.)
