"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

We tried to take Penny running at the Rose Bowl yesterday. It was a fail. If our group didn't stick together, she would stop until the group caught up. She is decidedly a pack animal.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Ginger, I'm sorry about the Oncologist, but I'm so relieved Zenkitty is there with you.

Aw. Walter likes to keep the herd together, but if we're running he likes to be out in front.

Bummer, meara.

I was just going to run over to the grocery to get a cuke but my goggles broke last night, so I guess I gotta go to the sporting goods store too.

I wish this cold would either commit or go away. It's low level annoying, not enough to commit to a full sick wallow. But I can't go anywhere without Kleenex for the random snot explosion.

Damnit, cats are drapey. As if being all over me last night wasn't enough.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

So I'm watching an episode of Poirot on Netflix, and I totally love that Poirot's solution to the murder depends on the fact that British cuisine is horrible.

Heh.

My dad just called memoir help with his phone while I was trying to watch football. My world is all topsy-turvy. I didn't miss anything good, but still, weird.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Aww, Ginger, I'm sorry things are so horrible right now. I hope having Zenkitty there helps.

Thanks folks! Jetta is a pretty girl, and even sometimes well-behaved. Right now she's conked on the floor next to me because we walked nearly 7 miles on hilly trails and she's tired. Soon we will meet the dog-walker, and then I will make these gingerbread blondies, and then go see Creed.

changed the password for the wifi and set up a guest network I can turn on and off with a few clicks. I think this will end the battle on electronics monitoring and I will no longer have to take the plug to the router with me when I leave to enforce the rules.

Now to get the tivo set up with the new password which is somewhat involved, I think, goin from an apple plain english password to a hexadecimal code or somesuch.

nope, I was wrong, it takes the regular password, so all done and now when mac loses electronic privileges I turn off the guest network and he has no wireless for his devices and thus no access. no talks, no doing without myself, just off..
