Hey, preaching to the choir. I thought our Lady of the Perpetual Sea Breeze was the real deal until the Divine Miss J walked right through that door and right into my ass—which is where my heart is…physiologically. I could show you an x-ray.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I think it is, though I was hoping to get a Peanut Alex visit in today, that I now think will be next week, just in cas.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Hope you're feeling better, Lee

but sometimes you have to sacrifice for Art.

Given the amount of ooky snot I am able to expel from my nose, I have a head cold. At least that and the headache waited until I was done flying.

Grocery shopping and restocking done, laundry in the works. I've put all the next few weeks' events on the calendar and omg. I hate December.

I need to vacuum, but I think this headache needs to subside a bit first.

Jesse, I fear the answer may be something like "Nordstrom" which means you just have to look at ALL the things, because the place is so weirdly organized?? Ugh.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I was going to wait until my (60th!) birthday this summer to get another tattoo to go with the one I got for my 40th, but I suddenly realized what I want and I want to get it TODAY. I am going to get "Don't dream it's over". It's from my favorite song by my favorite artist and is also good advice for hitting 60, I think.

Putting it on my inner forearm, probably.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

The wi-fi at this hotel is kinda weak. It seems to have trouble connecting to a lot of the places I go.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ooh, that's a good one, Scrappy.

But do you already know what font you want, Scrappy? That would be my hard decision!

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Go you, Scrappy!

The beast and I went for our first "run" together. Quotes because I've been unable to run much for about a month, and because she is new to running in general. So we did a walk-run-walk thing in the woods that was (a) hella cold and windy and (b) only a tiny bit faster than walking. But it was still good.

And I have eaten, and cleaned the bathroom, and picked up meds at the vet (apparently dogs can get giardia, who knew?), and now I have to do bills and so forth. I really would like to just lounge around the house, but the dog has little patience for that: if I want to lounge, she gets a tennis ball and starts chewing on it in my lap. It's both disgusting and annoying.

Nails appt was not on nail tech's calendar so I sat around to be fit in btw other people in bits and pieces. Now getting brunch out. I've decided today I will tackle paper and list at least 10 things for sale. Goal is to file stack of papers and clean out one plastic file bin.
