And being one of the last 3 on the plane...I have a row to myself. In the wayback, but still. Also far away from white jackass boomer guy I wanted to hit.
Vacation wearing off fast, I guess. Or could be the cold I'm fighting. I'm pretty much guaranteed to get sick this trip.
Eta: except now waiting fo freaking pilots. Jesus.
Yay row of your own!
I went shopping with a friend at an art fair (which started last week, so maybe we missed some good pieces, but it was not crowded!) and bought a few things--two presents, plus one gift for me. :) My friend ended up buying a whole bunch of both gifts and things for herself, so I was glad I suggested it. Sad, though, because one of the things I LOVED was a shirt that was only available in a size that didn't fit me...and it was one of the few artists who didn't have a card with an etsy store or something (and I googled her name, and she has an etsy store that she hasn't sold anything in since 2010).
And then we had to be deiced. Which is a first for me. Plane smells of antifreeze now. But am apparent still only about 25 minutes later than original scheduled arrival.
Kat, the radiolab podcasts you recommended helped pass the time. I'd definitely heard the last part (modern day football mom) of the football one.
Only with my brother do texts start out with "Dad described his poop to me again, only he used the word 'stool'. KILL ME." and then segue to white privilege. (Not directly to white privilege from parental oversharing; there was discussion of Dad's casual racism in between.)
sara, I'm glad that you enjoyed it. The modern football mom was interesting, but I thought the Carlyle School stuff was amazing.
I am a little surprised how many of my mix CDs I had not ever imported into my iTunes. Almost done now.
Yeah, I'd apparently missed that part when broadcast. It was awesome.
Got another hr or so of flying. Finished one book, eyes too tired for more reading.
Gross thing: About an hour ago, I kind of
lost my dinner unexpectedly enough that I only made it to the sink.
Upside, I have one less thing that still needs cleaning this weekend.
that sucks, Lee. :(
Where do grown women purchase cute going out clothes? I have no desire to shop at like, forever 21, but I want cute things to wear when I go to bars.
But hey, at least
you made it to the sink.
So there's that.
t /silver lining?
