Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Haven't got it, Ginger. Resend?

Ginger, I hope the rehab goes smoothly.

Zen, I wrote a long, detailed email as a reply to your last email as well as an equally complex one to another friend using the online email of my ISP, which is clunky but generally reliable. I just clicked on the versions in sent mail and there was nothing I wrote today. I saved some versions, so I'll recreate.

I hate everything.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Argh, Ginger. Just argh. Something has to go smoothly and easily for you soon. A lot of somethings, I hope.

Well fuck.

Definitely hope the one near your friend is not a mirage, ginger!

I am weirded out by the freakish tardigrades. But intrigued by the peppermint gelato. And disturbed aurelia has/needs security guards?? Jeez.

I am preemptively panicking about buying Christmas presents. I don't know why I'm already stressed by this. Thankfully my mom just requested some sort of heart rate monitor, possibly a Fitbit charge. That would be easy enough. Anyone have suggestions for a four year old girl, a racist sibling who lives in Europe, or a nice gift for a home cook? Or for the new friend I'll be traveling with in a few months?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Anyone have suggestions for a four year old girl, a racist sibling who lives in Europe, or a nice gift for a home cook?

No specific ideas, but I've got a good lead on a discount for the home cook! I think one of my more successful cooking gifts was a huge skillet for my mother. She only uses it a few times a year, but it's super handy those times. Thus, not something she would necessarily ever have bought herself, but something she is glad to have. (Only a good gift for someone with a lot of storage.) My favorite cooking gift I've ever gotten might be a springform pan, for similar reasons.
