After 2 months of medication and subcutaneous fluids, Slinky's lab results are back to normal!!! They were ridiculously high 2 months ago (at that time, the vet said Slinky had severe kidney disease), and the vet was so excited she basically *ran* back to the exam room to give me the results. Hooray, eternal kitty!
We still have to give her liquid meds every day, and SQ fluids every 3rd day or so, but she's doing MUCH better. She is invincible.
Good job, Slinky! Keep it up.
Maybe don't harass her with vegetables for a few days as a reward. She won't know, but we will.
Yay, Slinky! You keep on, kitty girl.

We don't have any cucumbers, but we tried to spook the cats last night with a green banana. Toke ignored it and Slinky just looked at it, sniffed once in its direction, and went to sleep.
No fun at all, I tells ya.
Glad to hear that Slinky is doing better
I tried to spook my cats with a cucumber today and they both DGAF.
Slinky best not be using up lives!
Though I should say same. 10:30 pm, check weather forecast. Climb out on porch roof and clear leaves.
