Anya, the Shopkeepers of America called. They wanted me to tell you that 'please go' just got replaced with 'have a nice day.'

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

ME TOO!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Sorry to hear that, Tep.

Y'all are definitely making me want to watch Crazy Ex-girlfriend.

I came in to the office today but I don't think I will stay all day. I definitely have more energy today than yesterday, but I'm already getting worn down and I haven't done any work yet. If I can get through the couple of things that are much easier to do here than at home i think I will hit the drugstore for something Nyquil like at lunch time and not come back...

Ugh, got down to my car this morning to discover someone had left an open styrofoam takeout box with rice and a big steak open to the rain on top of my roof, and then had a blowout on the drive in to work. I hope this isn't an indication of how the whole day is going to go.

Hopefully that got all the suck out of the way and the rest of the day will be great to make up for it.

What worries me is I have an early afternoon launch meeting for a new project I'll be working on the next few months. Crossing my fingers it's not run by Murphy's Law.

Fingers crossed for you Matt!

I'm glad Jesse you had the same reaction to the drugs/floor thing. I figured you would.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

In "Why Me?" news- my landlord did not get my rent check this month. I sent it late, and my bank sends it (I don't have checks), so I chose "Send by Courier". They send a cashiers check via FedEx, and it is supposed to be signed for or they don't leave it.

The tracking says that it was left by FedEx at the "front door" and no signature was required. The bank can't cancel the check because it is a cashiers check, and so they either need to take 3 -4 days to investigate and then decide if they give me the money back, at which point they send me a claim to fill out which I have to sign and HAVE NOTORIZED! Or I can wait 90 days to see if it is cashed. My landlord wants their money!

I went to take my rent out of the ATM to get a money order to send them, but it won't let me take out that much money. Which is maybe good, because it will leave me with no money to eat/live until I get the rent money back from the bank (if I do).

Also, I am just laughably poor, because this $525 unexpected outgo is killing me!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Y'all are definitely making me want to watch Crazy Ex-girlfriend.

I watched the pilot yesterday because it was about to expire from Hulu, and I loved it.

I was watching crazy ex girlfriend (because I was wrong about when Jane the virgin started). And next week's episode preview involved someone saying "you don't take a pill because it's on the bathroom floor! Because it's next to the toilet!" Or something. And all I could think was "it was white and looked like a tooth and so I ate it!"

Heh. I haven't seen that yet.

Ugh, Sophia and Matt. I'm sorry your Tuesday is acting like a Monday.

ltc has an eye infection, and I'm exhausted and cranky. My in-laws are coming by and I so don't feel like being a sociable hostess.

Oh, god, Sophia, what a nightmare! If they didn't require a signature and they were supposed to you should be reimbursed by somebody! THis is in no way your fault and someone should be jumping through hoops of flame to fix it for you. WTF?!

Definitely, what -t said. They messed up. They should pay for it.

Our garage door is apparently rotting right off the motor. So, we're not using it while we wait for an estimate for replacing it. Luckily we have too much junk in our garage to park either car in there anyway.
