Good luck with he visa. I have no idea. The sooner you contact them the more time there will be, I guess.
I left work thinking I would pick up Popeyes on the way home, but while I was driving I convinced myself that making some soup would be better and almost as easy but now I am home and making soup seems hard. Ah well, I'll throw some stuff in a pot and it will be edible, I'm sure.
We use CIBT, shrift. They're fast and know what they are doing. Helpful hint from my coworker:
Key thing in all your paperwork: you are not from, have relatives in, have visited or even thought about Pakistan. But it is pretty seamless.
mmm, now I want Popeyes, mostly the side of beans and rice.
I was thinking butterfly shrimp. Maybe later in the week. I did pull myself together enough to make some soup, and I think it might be making me feel better. So that's nice. I think I will get takeout soup tomorrow.
Ugh, that reminds me. I have to cook dinner again tomorrow. Bummer.
Just went through my son's lines with him for the school play. Fun and yet? Hot mess. He's all over the place. Luckily I think it'll work out just fine.
I did the Downtown Dining Week thing tonight at Automatic Slim's. I had a lobster cake appetizer (delicious!) and brisket over bacon mac & cheese. Dessert was unimpressive, it basically seemed like someone melted a tablespoon of ice cream over a tablespoon of peanut butter and some graham cracker crumbles, but dinner as a whole was nice. And I think it has my favorite atmosphere/vibe of any restaurant in Memphis.
There was a long wait since I didn't know I was eating there until 5 minutes before walking in, but I got to watch Phil Laak play poker on a big screen TV while waiting.
All right. I am going to get passport photos taken tomorrow at my office. I got samples from my coworkers so I can copy what they did to request all the visa letters I'll need, and I put my passport in my work bag because I'll need that to fill 'em out. I'll start the ball rolling with a visa processing service as well.
My accommodations are sorted for Hyderabad, and I just need to send them my itinerary so they can arrange airport transportation. I will figure out SIM cards and plug adapters later. Everything will be fine and I am having a ginger cocktail now.
I need to book a hotel in Dublin, but that part of the trip is going to be SO SIMPLE compared to the India portion.
Aren't you all glad I'm oversharing?
