I am good with stemless wine glasses. Also tumblers. But then I will drink wine out of most any glass including juice glasses and those cute French jelly jars.

Hey, what's a high fiber (as in keep shit moving, but not alarmingly so) but not high calorie tasty snack? Given the amount of opioids he's on, he's going to need it, but he also is unhappy about being sedentary.
How does he feel about a fiber supplement? There's one that's a powder that is supposed to be completely taste-free and you stir it into any liquid and it doesn't make it thick and gross. So he could stir it into his coffee or whatever he drinks.
t edit Benefiber! I had to google "fiber powder no taste".
Yeah, I dunno. I'll broach it with him. He can't exactly race to the bathroom, but he doesn't want to add more pain to the mix.
I would rather drink wine out of a jelly jar than a stemless wine glass. I'm happy to take the specialized Bordeaux glass if it's on offer, but I certainly don't feel the need to have them all available for home use, but the last couple of events I've been to that gave me souvenir wine glasses (I have a lot of souvenir wine glasses, it's kind of a geographical feature) have handed out stemless and I just don't get why they are a thing.
I think stemless are weird, too, plus there's too much surface area for your hand to make contact with, which can warm up your wine. I have no idea how they became a thing.
Exactly!
I'm drinking wine out of a juice glass because it's what I have = aces go you.
We're giving away commemorative stemless wine glasses at a wine-centric event = weird.
Although I am currently drinking wine out of a commemorative stemless wineglass because it is also plastic and therefore difficult to break, which suits my mood.
I'm on opioids, and my doctor recommends Miralax, which is pretty mild. The problem with fiber supplements is that they cause gas and cramping in some people.

Ah, yes, an exception to my "stemless wineglasses, WTF?" stance is the plastic stemless wineglasses for camping. (I mean, I would just drink wine out of my coffee mug while camping -- and have done so because I am SO CLASSY -- but if you're stocking your camping kitchen gear, those seem cool to have.)

Citrucel is supposed to be the best for not causing gas and cramping. (Source: I have IBS. I have taken a lot of fiber supplements, and Citrucel was the best of the bunch in terms of no gas or cramping.) (YFiberMV.)
Thanks, everyone. I also reached out to my mom, as she's dealt with this, and largely converging with you guys. B's all " I'll just drink lots of fluids" and I'm, ummmmm.... One DAY of minimum opioids was gastrically unpleasant for me and I drink tons of water. His dosage is like 10x mine per day. He's bigger than me, but still.
