Joyce: You don't think it's too obvious? I think I look like I have a cat on my head. Buffy: But a very well groomed cat. Joyce: Well that's a comfort.

I either have a fever or it is really warm and humid for Nov 6.

Also, crying foul on my boss scheduling a meeting I have to be at for the time I normally would be leaving. Really??

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Can you attend the meeting wearing a coat and with an umbrella in hand and your keys on the table to make a point?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I either have a fever or it is really warm and humid for Nov 6.

Or both! I do not have a fever but was still sweating on the subway this morning. With no coat on.

Thank god (or, I guess, ita) for this site. My work internet (or possibly my computer) has been super poky for the last day or so, but we load no problem!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

This waking up at 3 am and not getting back to sleep thing has got to go. Yesterday I was fully awake and could just start my day, which was ok, but today I was just not asleep but actually opening my eyes and getting up was not happening and staying awake all day long is going to be hard.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Steph, I care, in the sense that I have no reason to hate your team, so I can be happy for you guys.

Nothing like getting into the office in time for your 9AM meeting and discovering that France has moved it without warning to 7:30AM. So...hope I didn't miss anything in the first hour.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

My insomnia has been much better since ltc was born. Unless I'm in pain, I'm too tired for insomnia. ISomewhatRelatedN, I'm not sure why I thought we'd have the energy to go out on a weeknight. The food was delicious, though. We went to the restaurant owned by the woman who makes the bread for my farmer's market.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Woo! They're doing ridiculously well (although they played horribly against Pittsburgh and won out of sheer dumb luck), which is nice to see.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

The doughnut fairy didn't come again today. Sigh.

The mini muffin fairy visited our kitchen, apparently. I saw them when I came in, anyway, but I haven't been to get my coffee yet so I may have missed my window to grab one.
