First frost of the season on the car this morning.
I indulged in drive-through breakfast today. The employee at the delivery window had on a big coat, a hat, and a scarf pulled up over her mouth and nose. I teased her, "It's not
that
cold."
She replied, "I've had some 'flu the past two weeks."
Aaaaaaugh!
Do Not Want.
I just walked into an office where a team has their supplies for a group costume laid out. I saw some peacock feathers, a brass candlestick, and some red clothes, and immediately said, "Oh, good one!" My coworker said I was the first person to get it!
Eeep, I don't get it.
I have adulted. Owning a home in Colorado in the winter means having to deal with getting the sprinklers blown out - something I've never, ever dealt with before. I have that scheduled now. Also need to contact my mowing service to stop that for the winter. Uggh.
Y'all, I'm not sure I'm going to make it to the end of the day without zzzzzzzz.......
What does that mean, getting the sprinklers blown out?
Making sure the sprinkler lines don't have any water in them so that they don't freeze and burst over the winter. I'm also having them aerate and fertilize my tiny lawn.
It's Clue!
Oh, duh. That would be a fun group costume theme.
People with children/people who know these things: Should I plan for trick or treaters tonight, or will it all be tomorrow?
Oh, please don't let them start coming tonight. I feel totally oppressed by Halloween this year. It's like being forced to take part in games in gym class. I may run to a friend's house and watch movies tonight. I think Game Night is still on for tomorrow night.
