I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Some guy named Dragan Bender got drafted to the NBA last night. That's a good name.

Punishingly Intricate

I have a gift card to spend at Sephora, but I generally don't buy many beauty products. What should I buy?

Maybe not makeup but some nice lotion or bath product?

Hmm. I do also have a pretty good amount of lotion and bath stuff. I should actually use these things.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Dana, what about higher end versions of the beauty products you do use? Or a perfume, if it's not triggery for you?

What about a super-nice hairbrush? Or other hair stuff?

LIKE A GIANT MINNIE MOUSE BOW.

Okay, maybe not that. (BUT DO IT.)

I have perfume that I don't use enough of.

I'm...sensing a theme here.

I could get some lipstick. And the hairbrush idea is intriguing, though I don't actually know what the difference would be between a drugstore hairbrush and a fancy hairbrush.

ETA: Holy crap, there are $100 hairbrushes?

Yep. A good boar's head bristle brush is a thing of wonder.

I have heard that the fancy expensive hairbrushes are fantastic, like Maria says. (I use a $6 drugstore one because most of the time I don't even brush my hair since it is an insane curly tangle.)

I could get some lipstick.

Sephora carries Besame Cosmetic lipsticks now, which are really great.

Ooh thanks for that reminder! (Want to start spending that paycheck I haven't gotten yet!)
