Now, I can hold a note for a long time...actually I can hold a note forever. But eventually that's just noise. It's the change we're listening for. The note coming after, and the one after that. That's what makes it music.

Breathing is hard

I'm rather ashamed of myself for taking so damned long to realize that the asthma did not go away it just hid. I thought it was a weakness to get a regular medication instead of a rescue inhaler. I had put the breathlessness down to being fat and out of shape. I'm still fat and out of shape, but I can cross the parking lot now without stopping to catch my breath at the door to the building (unless it's fucking cold or there's a dust storm or a nearby wildfire).

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Beathing should not be hard. Lungs - listen up and play nice now.

Says the lady who forgets that meds really do help and waiting until I'm miserable is silly.

CJ just got home and I told him I had shared his monkey suit wearing with y'all. He asked if I had told you he wore it to perk up his girlfriend who is fighting cramps and menstrual pain.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Yeah, Idaho has some beautiful parts but the winters are not Dana-friendly, from what I've seen.

Bummer, Zen. Breathing being hard makes everything else well nigh impossible.

My main software tool is not working today. Whee.

A Search and Rescue guy and willing to look silly for his girlfriend? There's going to be competition for him.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

So sweet, CJ!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Pretty sure I just had the ultimate Fat Salad for dinner: some lettuce and broccoli, with bacon, avocado, and blue cheese. Delicious!!

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Will join all the Buffistas who are tired of all the rain. (Luckily, I don't have allergies.) Not helping my mood any, I tell ya.
