I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Husband has another phone interview this afternoon at 11:30 board time. Cross fingers, y'all.

This one's in St. Louis, so it's Buffista-adjacent again.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Much health~ma to you, bonny, and especially blood-draw~ma. I will be sending you broadband supportive vibes this afternoon.

Okay, who has tested whether their cat is left-pawed or right-pawed?

Neat!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Health~ma for Bonnie. I hope your blood draw goes OK.

Fingers crossed for Dana and her DH.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Hope all goes well, Bonny.

Good luck, Mr. Dana!

OOOH! Hmmmm which glass to use?

The Professor is finally out and about after three days of hiding while Bob's teenaged nieces were here visiting. They and Bob left for Chicago this morning and, while it was a ton of fun having them here, I am so tired and pretty happy to have the house to myself for a bit.

I didn't get a chance to tell my exciting news from Friday night! My bike team did a benefit at Atomic--powerpoint karaoke--and a lady came up to me after to tell me how fun it was and how she'd done them before at "un-conferences" she attends. I was kind of half paying attention when she asked how to get in touch because she was interested in participating the next time we did one. I started to tell her about our fb page and website and she mentioned that she was an NPR reporter--Andrea Seabrook! I totally did flappy hands and went "OOOOOH!" because I am such an NPR nerd! Anyway, we exchanged email addresses so I'm totally getting her in on it next time we run the event which will definitely be sooner than next year!

Keeping you in my thoughts, bonny. And my best friend is a doctor who is always happy to answer medical questions so let me know if I can pass any along (also, given how close by you are, let me know if you need specialist recommendations because she's good for that too.)
