Possibly the most content-free political statement ever, uh, stated:
“I wanted to be sure I got in to see Trump because I believe in what he's standing for and I think he can get things done,” Noles said. “Nothing has been done before and something has to be done."
A crowd waiting for Donald Trump to speak Friday erupted after the presidential front-runner postponed his rally at the University of Illinois-Chicago Pavilion over safety concerns.
Trump was supposed to have a rally here on Sunday (while a marathon and other stuff are going on, but hey, the primary is Tuesday!), but it got cancelled today because of "security reasons." Good enough. Stay the fuck away.
“Nothing has been done before and something has to be done."
Right, because... what? Like, Obama has reopened the US consul in Cuba, and increased the numbers of people with healthcare in this country by 20 million, and signed onto an international climate change agreement, and didn't get us into a land war in Syria, and is trying to fix the VA, and is somehow managing to run the government even though the fucking SEQUESTER is still in place so federal budgets have been hobbled for the last four years.
But that's all ... nothing. Right.
Gotta love Jerry Greenfield. Bring some of that ice cream this way, dude.
Instead of ice cream, I may make cookies tonight. Or mix the batter tonight and bake them tomorrow. My nose hurts.
Tonight's dinner was roasted vegetables with organic kielbasa. Pretty tasty!

Get ready to burn the world and salt the ruins.
At least after Tuesday Trump and the rest of them should leave Florida alone. Go away candidates!
Today was a day full of suck. No sense in rehashing. Friend's day was full of suck too so I bought a bottle of coconut sake and we heated it up in coffee mugs instead of the sake cups because we figured there was no point in kidding ourselves.
Oh Teppy, I hope the vertigo passes soon.
But that's all ... nothing. Right.
It is refreshing that Hillary and Bernie are embracing the Obama record. It really annoyed me so much in the previous couple cycles when no Dem would mention that he had a record that deserved applause.
I'm about to do some cooking that will involve mixing cool ingredients with my hands. And the cold will linger in my fingers for probably an hour because it is still March (even if I stick my hands in warm water afterwards). I'm ready for real spring, now, and thinking I may have misjudged summer.
Of course, in July, I'll be thinking fondly of the days of March.
Because I'm a crazy dog owner, here's one more family picture of us with Kato: [link] He looks so good in that picture! I just love it.
