I think we can give her a pass for that, right?
She does.

Someone appears to have driven a car into a theater across the street. And no, it's not a drive-in theater.
Well, it is now.
Yikes, Consuela!
Work went completely nuts and ended up with a bunch of things assigned to me being reassigned after I pointed out it was duplicating work. Which I discovered after I'd done it. Ahhhhrg.
One of the things that frustrates me most about anxiety is that it acts up when positive things are afoot.
Oh good lord yes.
CJ's girlfriend explained anxiety to him in a way that finally made him understand. "It is like hearing the boss music in a video game and never having the boss appear". He apologized to me for not really understanding my anxiety issues.

Oh, my god. So perfect.
Yep, yep, yep! Exactly right.
Yes, sober for almost three months. Ambien was fairly easy, once I gave myself permission to say, I don't have to get a job soon, and it's ok to have a truly weird sleeping pattern. Xanax was harder, because I did use it therapeutically as well as recreationally, so it took me a little longer to say, no, I can't trust myself to use this medically.
I still have a lot to work on, but I am very proud of myself, especially since my dad's dementia is very rapidly progressing, and that's very, very hard for me and my family.
Way to go, Strix! Good to hear.
Good work, Strix!
That is good news, Strix. Three months!!!
Talked with my boss today for my official performance review. I think I had mentioned here that he had been forced to give us all "performing" no matter each employee's actual performance. So, I was expecting the minimal raise but was pleasantly surprised with 3.8% out of the max 4% that was available. But I also found out that I'm at 77% of the mean for my salary range which will make it hard to justify a grade increase, which I'm hoping to advocate for at the end of the year.
tl;dr - yay, raise.
