Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

How unpleasant to not have a handle on what the guy wants, Zenkitty. Me, I suspect that you are actually doing the thing just fine but what the guy really wants is the power to make you feel that way.

In that case, until it's hanging off you in shreds, I think there's no such thing as beyond wearability.

And then you take the shreds and braid 'em up into the accessory of your choosing - headband, bracelet, necklace, whatever - and go right on wearing it.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Of course it does. Wouldn't want me having daylight on the way to work for more than a few days.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Me, I suspect that you are actually doing the thing just fine but what the guy really wants is the power to make you feel that way.

I don't think it's personal, but he's an intense control freak and I suspect he'll find something wrong no matter what I do. What I'm focusing on today is getting my boss to understand this is what's going on. Also, my brain's dyslexia-like tendency to switch numbers around makes it especially hard to edit articles like this, which my boss doesn't comprehend at all.

And then you take the shreds and braid 'em up into the accessory of your choosing - headband, bracelet, necklace, whatever - and go right on wearing it.

That's a great idea.

It sounds promising, Dana! Don't stress!

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I don't think they'd set up a time for a call just to tell him he didn't get the job.

I certainly hope they would call either way, but setting the appointment to me says there's something to discuss. So, good sign. Fingers crossed!

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Hey, Daylight Savings Time begins this weekend!

I love getting more light at the end of the day, but I'll be a zombie in the mornings for about a week.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Because it's too early to switch! I feel very strongly that we should either not switch at all and stay on DST all the time, or go back to the way it used to be, with a shorter DST period.

Our wings are not tired.

Grumble. I hate being robbed of an hour. I need all 24 every day, if not more.

And then they posted and pulled them.

NOT AS IF WE AREN'T NEUROTIC MESSES TO BEGIN WITH.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Damn, sara. That is some A+ bureaucracy.
