You know, it's funny. We went to war never looking to come back, but it's the real world I couldn't survive.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Oh lord, animals.

One of the cats had a mishap this morning trying to leap onto the kitchen counter via a stack of books and stuff. I assume it was the elderly one, though both of them were caught in the ensuing avalanche.

But also at the bottom of the pile, it turned out, was a little figurine my dad left here that makes this horrid unnatural laughing/squealing sound. Since that was at the very bottom it was sort of muffled and both my sister and I came flying out of our rooms thinking one of the cats was seriously injured and possibly in her death throes.

Librarian Warlord

My poor pup had some surgery on her toe today to remove some kind of growth there. I can't wait to pick her up and get her home!

I keep trolling for info on what happened in the Supreme Court this morning. Someone post something comprehensive or analysis soon!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Oh man! That sounds really funny, after the fact.

I heard Jesse Ventura a while ago saying he was going to run on a Libertarian party ticket, which now seems like a great idea?

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

It seems like any third-party candidate would just serve to split the Republican vote. Which I'm more than okay with.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I suppose if Warren Buffet decided to run it would split the Democrat vote instead, but I think he's way too smart for that.

Bloomberg could take votes from Hilary, I think.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

We are excellent to one another.

Always good to hear.

I think I might enjoy a Jesse Ventura/Donald Trump debate. Especially if wrestling broke out.

I think he definitely could, people see him as a moderate. And a lot of people hate Hilary.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

And a lot of people hate Hilary.

That's what I don't get, that some people hate her so much that they'd rather vote for Trump. The misogyny on display is really depressing.
